Who's Who Legal (WWL) identifies the foremost legal practitioners in multiple areas of business law, minimising the transactional expense and risk of receiving poor counsel.

Who’s Who Legal identifies over 23,000 of the world’s leading lawyers and consulting experts in more than 100 jurisdictions and 36 practice areas.

The independent research process encompasses more than 2 million recommendations recorded in interviews with private practice experts and client sources. For over 20 years our researchers have travelled to more than 60 jurisdictions to investigate local legal markets.

Who’s Who Legal also reports on corporate counsel and private practice news, as well as publishing interviews with the most important in-house contacts around the world on how they select their lawyers.

An annual awards ceremony recognises the outstanding lawyers and firms for each practice area and in over 60 countries around the world.

Our other publications include WWL: Thought Leaders, which features the leading practitioners in each practice area that we research, and our Future Leaders guides, which focus on the rising stars aged 45 and under.

We pride ourselves on the integrity and authority of our findings. It is impossible to buy entry into this publication.
