Alison Ross,

Editor

After practising for five years as a barrister in London, Ali joined GAR a year after it was founded, in 2007, becoming Editor in 2009.

Covering commercial and investment arbitration, GAR is the unofficial broadcaster for members of the international arbitration community, keeping them feeling up to date and informed.

Launched in 2006, GAR has grown into the leading independent hub for news, analysis, rankings, discussion and data affecting the practice area of international arbitration.

GAR provides readers with a daily news service, covering both commercial and investment arbitration, plus a series of well-known original reports and annual surveys, and in-depth features.

GAR is known for being reliable, accurate, balanced and easy to digest.

On the events side, the GAR Live events draw on the brand's journalistic roots to provide an experience that is lively and stimulating and a break from the norm.

GAR also works with leading practitioners to provide in-depth coverage and thought leadership in a variety of formats. These reviews, guides and jurisdictional comparison tools are free to view on the site.

GAR is overseen by an editorial board that comprises some of the best-known figures in the field.

GAR recently launched a new workflow tool the Arbitrator Research Tool to assist readers to identify suitable arbitrators, and its portfolio continues to expand.
