Ignacio joined Latin Lawyer in September 2018 to work on the expansion of the publication’s benchmarking products. He has developed a deep understanding of the Latin American legal market over the last 15 years, having devised, edited and launched a legal directory based on client-led intelligence about the top business lawyers in the region for Chambers and Partners, a publishing company in the UK. Prior to joining Latin Lawyer, he set up a quarterly magazine focusing on the latest news and trends in the legal market in Latin America for a Madrid-based publisher. Ignacio holds a BA in English from Universidad de Oriente in his native Cuba and has lived in London for over 20 years.

Marieke’s specialism is the law and practice of international investigations. She oversees news, analysis and special projects, and occasionally still writes. Marieke has been writing for a global legal audience since 2010. She is the editor of Global Investigations Review, having joined the publication ahead of its launch in 2014 as news editor.

Kyriaki has overseen the development and growth of GRR since its launch in 2016. She has been a journalist on various Law Business Research publications for more than a decade, and once appeared on a conference panel about international arbitration in Canada with the BBC’s chief international correspondent, Lyse Doucet. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Durham and received a student journalism award for her MA in Multimedia Journalism from Bournemouth University.

Tom manages GCR’s editorial team across the UK, US, Belgium and Hong Kong. Before joining GCR in 2015, he was a trainee solicitor at a leading law firm in London. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Durham.

Trevor Little is managing editor of IAM and World Trademark Review (WTR). As a legal and business journalist for over 27 years, Trevor has headed up titles across a range of industries, covering issues as diverse as not-for-profit sector management, the business applications of new technologies and risk management. Throughout his career, Trevor has written extensively on the issues surrounding corporate value, reputation and identity, as well as brand management and business development. He has been interviewed about IP issues on national radio and spoken at a range of international IP and brand protection events. From 2009 to 2022 he was editor of WTR.

Sebastian Perry has worked at GAR since 2010, including as Acting Editor, Features Editor and News Reporter. Before that, he was a sub-editor for LBR’s production department and a reporter for another LBR publication, Latin Lawyer. He has a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford, an MA in English Renaissance Literature from the University of York and a postgraduate diploma in journalism from the London School of Journalism.

Ben heads up our team of reporters in New York and Washington, DC. Since joining GCR in May 2018, he has tracked US enforcement and reported from the courts and Capitol Hill. He provided in-depth coverage of government challenges to Tronox/Cristal, Wilhelmsen/Drew Marine, Ottobock/Freedom Innovations, CVS/Aetna, T-Mobile/Sprint and two criminal trials against former currency traders accused of fixing exchange rates. He has a particular interest in competition matters related to intellectual property and the effect of political influence on antitrust enforcement.

Rupert is Head of Analytics for Performance Data at Law Business Research.  Rupert read history at university before doing a law conversion and then the Bar course. Rupert joined LBR in 2016 as editor of Who’s Who Legal, before moving to his current role in April 2021.
